BoHua grew up in China and moved to Canada for architecture. With the background of Civil Engineering (New Brunswick University) and Ceramic Art (NSCAD University), BoHua Master graduated from Dalhousie University School of Architecture with the Architects’ Association of New Brunswick Scholarship and School of Architecture Thesis Prize. BoHua believes in the timeless way architecture comes from deeper nature of building, communication between materials through nature elements to form spaces, collective phenomena, and story. These elements intertwine dynamically to develop the dependent relationship between architecture, people and site. The action of ‘ReArchTion’ to the physical, emotional, and cultural context helps to reconsider architecture as the platform and medium to explore and experiment the human built environment. BoHua has worked for a variety architecture firms along Pacific and Atlantic region in Canada and has participated in major commercial, residential and mixed-use projects. BoHua joined TEAL in 2015 to design innovative solutions for clients and transform each site to become a place for experiencing.
